  • Build presence and connection.

  • Process experiences together.

Participants will have practiced check-ins/check-outs, leading to improved meeting starts and ends, and better engagement.
Keep it brief—30 seconds per person max. Model vulnerability. It's okay if people pass; don't force it. This practice builds trust over time. It works better with consistent groups than one-off meetings. Sometimes, despite your best efforts, participants will still struggle to open up, and that's alright.

  1. Check-In (5 min): Each person shares briefly:


  • How are you arriving? (mood, energy)

  • What's on your mind?

  • What do you need from this session?


  1. Check-Out (5 min): Each person shares briefly:


  • What are you taking away?

  • How are you feeling now?

  • What are you grateful for?
