  1. Set the stage (5 min): Create a safe space. Review ground rules and past action items.

  2. Gather data (15 min): Collect feedback. Use prompts like:

What went well?
What didn't go well?

  • What should we try?


  1. Generate insights (20 min): Group similar feedback and spot themes.

  2. Decide what to do (15 min): Vote on key issues. Brainstorm solutions.

  3. Close the retrospective (5 min): Summarize action items. Assign owners and deadlines.
