Choose the strongest concepts to move forward using varied evaluation methods. Balance intuition with structured analysis to select ideas with the highest potential. I've found this works best when you clearly define 'success' up front.

Select the strongest concepts using systematic evaluation. Ensure team alignment on selection rationale. Balance feasibility, desirability, and viability. Create clear next steps for the chosen concepts.
Concept selection. Chosen direction. Foundation for development.
Be explicit about selection criteria beforehand. Use multiple methods (voting, discussion, matrices) for robust selection. Document the rationale for decisions. Consider both short-term feasibility and long-term potential. Plan immediate next steps. Sometimes, despite best efforts, a 'winning' concept fails in testing. Don't be afraid to revisit your runners-up!

  1. Present all concepts clearly (15 min). 2. Individuals silently evaluate using criteria (15 min). 3. Dot vote for initial filtering (10 min). 4. Discuss the top concepts in detail (20 min). 5. Take a final selection vote and document the rationale (15 min).
