Be honest about current capabilities versus what's needed. This exercise often reveals the need for more team members or partners. It's better to know this now than later.
Implementing an innovative solution is different from conceiving it. This method helps you understand the feasibility of your solution and where your organization will need help.

  1. Identify the key elements of implementation: distribution, partners, and capabilities. Your Business Model Canvas should offer some answers.

  2. Write "Distribution," "Capabilities," and "Partners" on separate sheets of paper. Post them. Brainstorm what needs to happen for each. List existing resources and what you'll need.

  3. After brainstorming, group needs by actors in the room and those outside the team's scope. Determine if you need new relationships or if existing ones will suffice.

  4. Plan staffing.
