A team that is re-energized and more engaged. Participants who are ready to resume work with renewed focus.
Select energizers based on the group's current state. Physical activities are great for sluggishness; mental activities help with scattered focus. As the facilitator, set a playful tone. Keep it brief; shorter is better. Be mindful of mobility limitations and offer alternative activities.

  1. Quick Energizers (5-10 min): Choose one or several.

  2. Physical:

  • Shake out: Shake each body part, counting down from 8.

  • Back-to-back: In pairs, try to stand up back-to-back without using hands.

  • Energy ball: Toss an imaginary energy ball around the circle, adding sound effects.

  1. Mental:

  • Word at a time story: As a group, create a story, one word at a time.

  • Count to 20: As a group, count to 20 without planning who speaks next. If two people speak at the same time, restart at 1.

  • Zip zap zop: Pass energy around the circle using gestures and the words "zip", "zap", and "zop."

  1. Creative:

  • Draw your neighbor: Create a quick sketch of the person next to you.

  • Superhero pose: Strike a powerful superhero pose for 30 seconds.

  • Orchestra: Everyone makes a sound; a designated conductor raises or lowers their hand to control volume.
