Participants will define clear, ambitious objectives and create measurable key results. They will align team efforts with organizational goals and establish accountability for outcomes, enabling data-driven decisions.

Keep objectives qualitative and inspiring. Make key results quantitative and specific. Aim for about 70% achievement. If teams hit 100%, goals weren't ambitious enough. You may need to guide teams to be more aspirational.

  1. Review company/team context (15 min). Understand higher-level OKRs and strategic priorities.

  2. Brainstorm objectives (30 min). Generate 3-5 ambitious, qualitative goals. Ask: What do we want to achieve?

  3. Define key results (45 min). For each objective, create 2-4 measurable results. Make them specific, time-bound, and aggressive yet achievable.

  4. Pressure test (20 min). Ensure OKRs are aligned with strategy, measurable, ambitious but achievable, and within team control.

  5. Assign ownership (10 min). Designate owners for each key result.
