Uncover Assumptions, Not Just Answers

New facilitators often ask questions designed to elicit direct answers. To drive deeper insight, craft questions that challenge participants to articulate their underlying assumptions. Instead of asking 'What's the solution?', try 'What must be true for this solution to work?' or 'What beliefs are we holding about this problem?' This approach uncovers critical unstated premises, preventing premature conclusions and fostering more robust problem-solving.
