Culture Design Canvas

Ten blocks that treat culture as a design problem: purpose and values in the middle, behaviors and rituals around them.

What it is

Razzetti's map of how a culture actually operates: purpose and core values at the center, ringed by priorities, behaviors, rituals, feedback, decision-making, meetings, norms and rules, and psychological safety. Teams fill it twice: the culture they have, then the culture they want, and work the gaps.

Reach for it when

  • A leadership team says "culture" weekly and means ten different things
  • Two merging teams need their unwritten rules written down
  • A remote team's norms grew by accident and it shows

Running it

  1. Map the current culture first, brutally. Post-its, small groups per block, 60 to 90 minutes.
  2. Vote the three blocks with the biggest say-do gap.
  3. Design the future state for those three blocks only. Whole-canvas redesigns don't survive contact with Monday.
  4. Turn each into one ritual or rule change with an owner and a date.

Watch out: Values written by the loudest executive aren't culture, they're wallpaper. Fill the canvas bottom-up before leadership edits it.
